Security Alert In County Tyrone
A suspicious object has been found in the car park of a church in Coalisland, County Tyrone.
Bomb disposal officers are currently at the scene at St Mary and St Joseph's Church on Brackaville Road today, Wednesday.
A number of residents have been evacuated from their homes.

County Tyrone Farmer Fined Over Pollution Offences
A County Tyrone farmer has pleaded guilty and been fined £1,000, plus £15 offenders levy at Dungannon Magistrates Court for making a polluting discharge to a waterway. William Potter, Annaghquin Road, Cookstown, Co Tyrone, was fined for the offences on Friday.

Murder Accused Attends Father's Funeral
An 18-year-old rising GAA star has attended the funeral of his father, amid accusations he was responsible for his murder. Aloysius Hackett, 60, was a respected figure in GAA circles in Tyrone and a former chairman of St. Macartan's GAA club. He was found dead at his home on Aghindarragh Road in Augher on Friday night.

Two injured during County Tyrone attack
Police in County Tyrone have appealed for information after two people were assaulted at the weekend. Shortly before 10pm yesterday evening, two males were walking past the Derryloran Church in the Church Street area of Cookstown, when they were attacked by a gang of up to nine unknown assailants – one of whom was armed with a knife.
