Deputy First Minister Will Not Travel To The US For St Patrick's Day

The Deputy First Minister has confirmed he will not be travelling to the US for St Patrick's Day.

Martin McGuinness has said he will remain in Ireland to focus on finding a resolution to the difficulties currently facing the Executive.

Mr McGuinness said: "The Sinn Féin team and I have engaged in this work positively and constructively. Progress has been made in talks between the parties but there is still a lot of work to be done."

Extra Time Granted To Question Man Over Baby's Death
Police investigating the sudden death of a baby in Co Armagh have been granted additional time for questioning. A 31 year-old man was arrested in Craigavon following the death of the 11 month-old boy in Keady on Tuesday. Detectives have been allowed an extra 36 hours to question him, after securing an additional 24 hours on Wednesday.
