Teenage road crash victims named
The two teenagers who died following a road traffic accident in Co Antrim early this morning have been named.
David McAuley, 15, from Seacourt Road in Larne and Gavin O'Neill, 16, from Gortin Park in Carnlough died when the white Ford Escort Cosworth in which they were travelling hit a wall on the Marine Road in Carnlough at around 1.15 am on Tuesday. They were both back seat passengers.
The driver and a third passenger travelling in the front of the car were later treated in hospital for their injuries.
The Fire Brigade had to cut the occupants of the car free. It is understood one of the teenagers died at the scene, and the other was later pronounced dead after being freed from the wreckage of the car.
Police in Larne want to speak to two people who were in a black Peugeot 205 which was seen in the area at the time of the accident.

Two die in separate road accidents
Two people have died in separate road accidents in Counties Londonderry and Down. In the latest accident, a man died following a road traffic accident in Ballynahinch on Wednesday. The accident occurred on the Crossgar Road at around 10.30am. Only one vehicle is believed to have been involved. The victim's name has yet to be released.
