Warning Of 'Treacherous Driving Conditions' On M1
Police have issued a warning of "treacherous driving conditions" on the M1 motorway following numerous crashes on Friday morning.
It is understood a number of vehicles have been involved in accidents due to icy road conditions, with junction 12 at Portadown and junction 15 at Dungannon said to be "particularly difficult".
Drivers are being urged to exercise caution and leave additional time for their journey.
A Met Office ice warning remains in place.

Yellow Weather Warning For Heavy Rain Issued Across NI
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain across Northern Ireland. The warning comes into place at noon until 9pm on Friday, 14 July. Strong winds are also expected around the coast and some flooding of homes and businesses is possible. Motorists are also being warned to expect difficult driving conditions.

Yellow Warning For Thunderstorms Issued
The Met Office have issued a Yellow Warning for thunderstorms for Saturday 21 August. The weather warning comes into effect at midday and remains in place until 10pm. The Met Office said: "Many places missing the worst, but heavy showers and thunderstorms may cause some transport disruption and perhaps flooding.

Belfast And Lisburn Flooding Causes Serious Delays
Flooding on roads across Belfast and Lisburn is causing knock-on delays to traffic. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain between 7am and 7pm today, Wednesday 07 November. Police are urging motorists to slow down because of "difficult driving conditions out there due to rain".
