SlurryKat Announces Expansion Plans And New Jobs
Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Arlene Foster has announced expansion plans and the creation of 12 new jobs by SlurryKat in Waringstown.
Slurry Kat which designs, manufacturers and exports agri-equipment for the management of farm slurry plans to recruit additional management and production staff to drive growth in international markets.
Arlene Foster said: "SlurryKat is an ambitious and export-led company with an impressive track record in developing and delivering highly innovative machinery for the efficient management of slurry and other farm waste materials. Their success is built on a strong market focus and flexible manufacturing systems which enable them to identify and respond quickly to opportunities for its innovative product range.
"The assistance offered by Invest Northern Ireland in recent years has enabled Slurrykat to expand its international sales and broaden its product range. I am pleased Invest Northern Ireland has been able to support these new jobs by the offer of £84,000 through their Jobs Fund.
"The 12 new roles, in areas such as manufacturing, production, customer service and quality control, will help to meet anticipated levels of business in the coming months. These new jobs will also generate £221,000 per year in additional salaries, which is positive news for the local Craigavon community and economy."
