Appeal Over Missing Broughshane Man

Police have appealed to the public for help in tracing the whereabouts of a man from Broughshane, Ballymena, County Antrim.

Geoffrey Adams, who is 53 years old, was last seen at Antrim Area Hospital on the afternoon of Sunday 8 February.

Police have described him as 5' 9", very thin, bald with a grey beard, crooked teeth and a crooked nose.

When last seen he was wearing a hospital gown and navy track bottoms.

Inspector Alexander Johnston said: "Police are concerned for Geoffrey's welfare and would ask him or anyone who knows of his current whereabouts to get in touch immediately on 101."

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police have appealed to the public to help them trace the whereabouts of missing person Edyta Dorota Mazurek. The 41-year-old was last seen in the Ballymena Road area of Antrim at approximately 09:00 on Monday 10 November.

Man questioned about 1988 murder
A man has been arrested in connection with police inquiries into a murder in 1988. The body of Lily Smyth, 66, was found in her flat at Moveen House in Dunmurry on October 9, 1988. The pensioner had been strangled. A police spokesperson said that a 43-year-old man had been arrested and is being questioned at Antrim Police Station.

Appeal Issued For Missing Lisburn Man Thomas McKeown
The PSNI in Lisburn have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Thomas McKeown. The 52-year-old was last seen at around 11.12am in the centre of Lisburn on Tuesday 11 June. Police said that Thomas is a "vulnerable adult" and they are keen to trace his current whereabouts.

Concern Grows For Missing Co Antrim Teen
Police are growing increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of a teenage girl from County Antrim. 17-year-old Kelsey Donnelly was last seen in the Larne area shortly after 10pm on Sunday evening, 28 July. She has links to the Ballymena and Newtownabbey areas. Police have urged members of the public to keep an eye out for the missing teen.
