New Belfast To Liverpool Flight Announced
Flybe are to launch a new flight connecting George Best Belfast City Airport and Liverpool John Lennon Airport from 29 March.
The new flight will operate three times per day Monday to Friday.
The new route brings Flybe's total number of flights out of Belfast to 15.
Paul Simmons, Flybe's Chief Commercial Officer, said: "We are committed to providing easy and affordable connectivity throughout the UK at competitive prices with maximum flexibility and choice.
"This new service is sure to have extensive multi sector appeal – business travellers will enjoy speedy city to city connections whilst the 2000 students from Northern Ireland who are engaged in further education in Liverpool will also benefit from competitive fares and generous student baggage allowances.
"The route should also prove very popular with football fans with Anfield and Goodison Park located only minutes from the airport."

Airport chemical spillage leaves six in hospital
A chemical spillage at Belfast City Airport has left six people in hospital. The mercury spillage was found at around 8am on Monday by baggage handlers who where unloading cargo from an inbound Birmingham flight. It is believed the spillage was found in the cargo hold of the Flybe plane.

Loganair Takes Over Two Flybe Routes
Scottish airline Loganair is to take over two former Flybe routes from Belfast City Airport. The flights to Aberdeen and Inverness will commence later this month and run on a daily basis, the airport has announced. Flybe entered administration early this morning, 05 March, with all flights cancelled across the UK.

Flybe has said it is to offer a new year-round flight route from Belfast to Liverpool. The service will be available from George Best Belfast City Airport to Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The route will come into operation from 2 February 2015, with the airline operating up to three flights a day.

Flybe Axe Belfast To Gatwick Route
Flybe has said it is to drop its direct flights from Belfast City Airport to London Gatwick. The route will stop from March 2014 and comes after the airline sold its runway slots at Gatwick Airport. A total of 26 weekly flights on the route will stop.
