Armed Robber Dresses As Police Officer
Police are searching for two men in connection with the attempted armed robbery of a shop in Co Armagh.
Police said that one of the men who attempted to rob the shop on West Street, Portadown, was dressed as a policeman.
It is understood two men entered the shop at about 10am on Thursday, one of them was carrying a suspected firearm. The robbers struggled with staff before making off empty handed.
Police said both men are aged in their 20s, one dressed as a police officer, and the second is described as wearing a black Addidas tracksuit and a two tone black/charcoal grey waterproof jacket.
Police believe there may have been a third man waiting in a getaway car outside the shop.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact police.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Brian McIlhagga
A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Brian McIlhagga. A gang of masked men dragged the 42-year-old victim from a house in the Riverview Park area in Ballymoney on 05 January 2015. He was beaten and shot in a paramilitary-style attack.

Police are appealing for information after two men attempted to rob a shop in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim. The men, one armed with a hammer, entered the shop on the Victoria Road at around 6.20pm on Saturday, 19 November, and demanded cigarettes and money. The pair were wearing hooded tops and had their faces covered.
