Woman Injured After Being Hit By Car
A woman is receiving treatment for a serious head injury after she was struck by a car.
The woman, thought to be in her 50s, was hit by the vehicle on James Street, Omagh, at around 3.05pm on Wednesday (7 January).
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact police.
Power Restored To West Belfast Homes
Power has been restored to more than 1,000 homes in west Belfast.
This morning (8 January), around 1,500 homes in the Springfield Road and Fernhill Grove areas suffered a power outage.
Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) had earlier said its engineers were working to locate a fault in an underground cable.
Vice-Chancellor Appointed To Ulster University
Dr Stephen Farry, Employment and Learning Minister, has welcomed the appointment of Professor Paddy Nixon as Vice-Chancellor of Ulster University.
He replaces Professor Sir Richard Barnett, who was Vice-Chancellor from April 2006.
Man's Skull Fractured In Attack
A man has been left with a fractured skull following an assault in Armagh.
The victim, aged 37, was found by police at a property in the Callanbridge Park area at around 6pm on Wednesday (7 January).
He was found with fractures to his jaw and skull.
He had been assaulted by three men.
An appeal for information has been launched.

Church In County Fermanagh Vandalised
A Protestant church has been sprayed with graffiti in County Fermanagh. St Patrick's Church Of Ireland was vandalised between 12pm on Sunday 20th January and 3pm on 24th January. Graffiti was sprayed on the walls and doors, according to the police. They are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Queen's University Appoints New Vice-Chancellor
Queen's University in Belfast has appointed a new Vice-Chancellor. Professor Ian Greer, who was born and educated in Scotland, is currently Vice President of The University of Manchester. Professor Greer's appointment was approved at a meeting of Senate, the University's Governing Body.
