Man Shot In North Belfast
A man has been injured in a paramilitary-style shooting in north Belfast.
The incident happened at Carlisle Parade in the New Lodge area of the city at around 7.40pm on Tuesday (7 January).
The victim, understood to be in his 30s, was shot in both legs.
He is currently in hospital receiving treatment.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Condemning the shooting, Sinn Féin MLA Gerry Kelly said: "This is yet another attempt to intimidate the local community but those responsible represent no one but themselves.
"They have no place in our society and no support and need to stop these actions immediately. I would urge anyone with information about this attack to bring it forward to the PSNI."

Police Appeal After Man Shot Dead In Bangor
Police are appealing for information following the murder of Colin Horner, who was shot in front of his three-year-old son at Sainbury's car park in Bangor on Sunday, 28 May. The boy was in the car at the time of the attack. It is understood Mr Horner, originally from Co Antrim, has loyalist links.

A man is being treated in hospital following a shooting incident in north Belfast. Police have reported that a 20-year-old man was injured in a paramilitary-style shooting at about 01:00 on Monday morning at Havana Walk in Ardoyne. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening. An investigation into the shooting is underway.

Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was shot dead in west Belfast. The attack happened at a house in Glenwood Court, Poleglass, at around 8.15pm on Thursday, 20 October. He has been named locally as Joe Reilly, aged 43.
