Two Arrested Over Co Antrim Armed Robbery

Police investigating the armed robbery of a shop in Armoy, Co Antrim, on Saturday night have arrested two men.

It is understood that two men armed with a gun and a knife threatened staff at a shop on Coolkeeran Road at about 19:00 on Saturday.

The men made off with a quantity of cash and cigarettes. No-one was injured in the incident.

Police said they have arrested a two males, aged 16 and 22, and an investigation is ongoing.

Staff Left Badly Shaken After Armed Robbery In Co Antrim
Workers at a shop in Co Antrim have been left shaken after three masked men entered the premises in an armed robbery. Three masked men, believed to be arraying suspected firearms, entered the shop on the Harbour Road in Carnlough, and threatened staff members just before 11pm on Thursday, 06 July.

Police have appeal to anyone with any information on an armed robbery of a shop in east Belfast on Wednesday night to contact them Police say they are investigating if a shot was fined during the robbery of a newsagent's shop on Bloomfield Avenue at about 20:45 on Wednesday.

Armed robbery at east Belfast newsagents
Police in east Belfast have appealed for information following an armed robbery at a newsagents yesterday evening. The incident happened at around 7.30pm, when two men, one of whom was armed with what is believed to have been a handgun, entered the shop on the Upper Newtownards road and threatened staff.
