Precious Packaging Bags Export Business
A Lisburn based firm Precious Packaging is now exporting its packaging products to 17 different countries worldwide following Jobs Fund and marketing assistance from Invest Northern Ireland.
Entrepreneurs Matthew Nelson and George Sleator have developed their business to become one of the leading online websites supplying a wide range of printed paper, plastic and eco friendly carrier bags.
The company has expanded its workforce recently, recruiting five new marketing staff to help increase sales. Turnover has already increased significantly as a result.
Precious Packaging's eco-friendly packaging is sold in international stores and used in Trade Shows as promotional aids, throughout Europe. The company has also created special packaging accessories to add to its growing portfolio, such as Limited Edition printed tissue paper for Puma.

Portadown company MacNeice Bros is one of 13 Northern Ireland food and horticulture companies to benefit from £3.46 million in grant aid from the EU Agricultural Processing and Marketing Grant Scheme. The apple-processing company has been awarded a grant of almost £203,000 to develop a preservative-free packaging process.

A west Belfast packaging firm has secured a £50 million contract to supply McDonald’s European fast food restaurants for the next five years. Delta Print & Packaging, who are based in Kennedy Way in Belfast, currently employ around 170 people.
