Tyrone Primary School Evacuated

A primary school in County Tyrone has been evacuated following a security alert.

The alert is currently underway at Omagh County PS on Campsie Road.

Pupils at the school have been taken to Omagh High for the duration of the alert and are being collected there by parents.

The PSNI has closed Campsie Road.

Heavy Snow Closes Over 80 Schools
Over 80 schools across Northern Ireland have been closed as the heavy snow continues to cause disruption on Tuesday morning. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, as the snow is continuing to affect many roads. Areas which have been majorly disrupted include Lisburn, Castlereagh and Carryduff.

Newry Road Reopens Following Security Alert
A road in Newry has reopened after a "crude device" sparked a security alert. The device was found on the Commons School Road yesterday morning, 12 February. A few nearby roads were closed following the alert. They have since reopened to the public. Commons School Road remains closed for pre-planned resurfacing.

School Closed And Homes Evacuated As Belfast Bomb Alert Continues
A Belfast primary school remains closed today, Tuesday 11 December, and many west Belfast residents have been evacuated from their homes due to an ongoing security alert. A "signifiant number" of houses were evacuated as police closed off Upper Dunmurry Lane.
