Three Children Injured In Road Crash

Three children and an adult have been injured in a road collision in County Tyrone.

The accident occurred near Gillygooley Primary School on the Gillygooley Road.

Ambulances attended the scene on Wednesday morning. Three children and one adult were treated for injuries that aren't believed to be life-threatening. They were then taken to the South West Acute Hospital and the Minor Injuries Unit in Omagh.

Teen Arrested Over Filling Station Robbery

A 16-year-old male has been arrested in connection with a robbery at a filling station in Carryduff on Monday night.

At about 21:15, a teenager entered the premises on Hillsborough Road and threatened staff with what was described as a 'fake plastic gun' and demanded cash and cigarettes. He is reported to have left with cash and cigarettes.

£26m Ballymena Health Centre Under Construction

Health Minister Jim Wells has visited Ballymena to view progress on the new health and care centre under construction.

The new health and care centre at the Braid Valley Hospital site will feature GP Practices as well as locally accessible acute, primary and community care services.

Minister Wells said: "The core vision of Transforming Your Care is to deliver care closer to people's homes and reduce unnecessary hospitalisation. I have already underlined my commitment to achieving a transformation in health and social care services.

"I believe if we want to continue to offer quality, sustainable and safe services into the future, we have to continue to develop new ways of working."

Getaway Car Involved In Road Collisions

A getaway vehicle that was part of a robbery in west Belfast was involved in several collisions, according to the PSNI.

Three males are reported to have robbed cigarettes and cash from a shop on Lanark Way at about 17:40 on Tuesday evening. The robbers then fled in a stolen Ford Fiesta in the Falls Road direction. The car was involved in several crashes with other vehicles and was subsequently found on fire in Ross Street just before 18:00.

A 16-year-old male was arrested nearby.
