Teenage Boy Sexually Assaulted In Belfast

Police have said a teenage boy has been sexually assaulted by a man in Belfast.

The incident occurred as two teenage boys were walking along Frederick Street in north Belfast at about 18:00 on Sunday.

The man who attacked the two boys is described as in his 30s, of average build and around 5'8" in height.

He is said to have been wearing a football top, black tracksuit bottoms and a beanie hat. He also had a scar on the left side of his face.

Police have appealed for information from the driver of a silver car who may have passed by.

Teenage Boy Dies Following Motorbike Crash
A teenage boy has died in a motorbike collision in Co L'Derry. The crash occurred in the Magilligan area at around 1.20pm on Thursday, 25 August. The 13-year-old boy was airlifted by the Irish Coastguard in Sligo. He was taken to Altnagelvin Hospital but later died.

Teenage Boy Attacked In West Belfast
Police are appealing for information after a teenage boy was attacked in west Belfast in the early hours of Sunday morning. The 17-year-old was standing outside premises on the Stewartstown Road when he was assaulted by a man. The victim suffered a broken jaw and was treated in hospital.

Police Appeal After Boy Hit By Car In Co Down
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses after a five-year-old boy was hit by a car in Co Down. The crash happened in the Malcolmson Park area in Magheralin just after 4.45pm on Thursday, 12 January. He is believed to be in a stable condition in hospital. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Police Helicopter Finds Boys Lost On Black Mountain
A police helicopter has rescued two twelve-year-old boys from Black Mountain in west Belfast Police responded to a call at around 15:15 on Saturday, finding to the boys within thirty minutes. One of the rescue crew helped the pair to safety. Neither boy suffered any injuries and they were returned home by a police patrol.

Booze Ruling Halts Asda's Store Plans
One of the world's largest supermarket groups has abandoned plans to open a second store in the north Belfast area - because it has been refused permission to sell alcohol. Asda has pulled out of plans for a branch at the old Hillview Retail Park on the Crumlin Road because "none of their branches operated without a beer, wine and spirits licence".
