Darren Anderson, 27, was last seen on Wednesday 19 November and police have said they are becoming "exceedingly concerned" for his welfare.

Darren is described as 5ft 8" tall, slight build, with dark wavy hair and green eyes. When last seen he was wearing a dark coloured cardigan, a light coloured shirt, dark trousers and dark coloured shoes. He may also have been carrying a white plastic bag.

In a statement, Detective Inspector Michelle Griffin said: "Enquiries have shown that Darren withdrew money from an ATM machine on Botanic Avenue at 8.37pm on Wednesday 19th November 2014.

Two Arrested Following Hijacking

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences.

A man, aged 22, and a woman, 23, were arrested following a road traffic collision in Armagh on Monday afternoon (24 November).

Shortly before 4.30pm yesterday, a Peugeot 208 car was hijacked in the Talbot Street area of Belfast. A woman in her 30s was getting into the car when two males and a female, armed with Stanley knives, threatened her before stealing the vehicle.

At around 6pm, reports emerged that the suspected stolen car had been involved in a single vehicle accident on the Drumilly Road, between Portadown and Armagh.

The male and female were subsequently arrested and are helping police with their enquiries.

Attempted Robbery On Cash-In-Transit Van

Police have launched an investigation following an attempted robbery in Belfast city centre on Monday (24 November).

At around 3.50pm, a man is understood to have approached a cash-in-transit company employee close to a bank in the High Street area of the city. He demanded the cash box the employee was carrying.

The cash-in-transit employee refused and the man was forced to flee empty-handed.

The man has been described as approximately 45-years-old, 5' 9" tall and of stocky build. He is thought to have been wearing a light blue jacket with the hood pulled up tight around the face. He was also wearing glasses.

The PSNI has said they have reason to believe a second man was involved, but remained a distance away throughout the attempted robbery.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information, is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
