Ulster Bank Branches To Close

Ulster Bank has announced it is to close a further 10 branches across Northern Ireland.

It follows news earlier in the month when the bank's chief executive in NI said that more branch closures were "inevitable".

The move has been blamed on changing customer behaviour, such as more people banking online.

It is understood that the branch closures will not require compulsory staff redundancies but will likely result in some agency staff losing their jobs.

The latest closures leave Ulster bank with 74 branches.
