Firms Urged To Secure Place At Google 'Juice Bar' Event
Finance Minister Simon Hamilton MLA has encouraged business owners to secure their place at a Google 'Juice Bar' event that will help to grow their business online.
The Minister was speaking ahead of the free event which he will host on 26th November 2014 at the Ulster University Business School, in partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
The Google Juice Bar offers free advice and digital support to local business owners. The workshop is part of Google's drive to help small businesses grow using the Internet and to help business owners learn new ‘e-skills.’ It is one of a series of events organised as part of the Department of Finance and Personnel's (DFP) Go ON NI campaign.
Mr Hamilton said: "A recent study has shown that businesses that have a presence online grow four to eight times faster than those who do not. It is vital that businesses get the support they need to grow online.
"The Google Juice Bar is an excellent opportunity for small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to gain the necessary skills to get the most out of their digital marketing and boost online presence. The Juice Bar will cover everything from creating a website to marketing a business online."
