Executive Committed To New Training Centre
Stormont has said it is committed to building a new police, fire and prison service training college.
It follows an announcement at the start of November by the steering group in charge of the construction plans, that the £130 million facility would not go ahead.
The group said concerns over the "current financial environment" meant it would not continue with the facility at Desertcreat, Co Tyrone.
However, the Northern Ireland Executive has said it is committed to the centre and the Programme for Government commitment, "would be met".

Teenager committed suicide after battling illness
An inquest today has heard a west Belfast teenager committed suicide following a battle with cystic fibrosis and after watching members of his family commit suicide. Stephen McComb, 19, was found dead near a house in Belfast in April 2005. He was the fourth member of the family to die in tragic circumstances in three years.

County Armagh couple jailed for child abuse
A couple from County Armagh who were found guilty of subjecting their children to 10 years of abuse have been sentenced to a total of six and a half years in prison. The 37-year-old man, was sentenced to four and a half while his partner, aged 41 was jailed for two years.

ANB Council Announces Community Recruitment Drive
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council has announced a recruitment drive for new Community Facility Operatives. The council hopes to recruit five permanent, part-time, flexible posts available across its range of Community Facilities. They are also recruiting Casual Community Facility Operatives to work as and when required across the facilities.
