New Graduates Complete Alexander Mann Solutions Recruitment Academy
Nineteen trainees have graduated from the Alexander Mann Solutions Recruitment Academy today.
The Department for Employment and Learning funds the Academy, which provides graduates with the skills and experience required to take up new opportunities offered by Alexander Mann Solutions. Nineteen trainees have just completed the Academy and are now interviewing for available posts within the company.
Speaking from Belfast Metropolitan College’s e3 campus, Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry said: "The Academy is an excellent example of how my Department through the Assured Skills initiative is supporting graduates to find employment. One of the aims of my Department’s Assured Skills programme is to build capacity within the workforce to meet the changing need of employers. The Academy model is a tried and trusted process allowing the trainee to learn the type of work they will be undertaking, but also allowing for the employer to get an insight into their potential employees.
"When we talk to companies about investing in Northern Ireland, we emphasise the skills of our people. I know that Alexander Mann Solutions have been impressed by the pool of talent they have found in Northern Ireland and the high calibre of the trainees. This augurs well for the company’s recruitment plans, and I believe that, following the success of this intake, plans are being initiated for another Academy in the New Year."
