Man Arrested Over Dissident Activity
A 23-year-old man has been arrested as part of a police investigation into dissident republican activity.
The man was arrested in Belfast on Wednesday.
He is being questioned at Antrim Police Station.
Injury Concerns For Tommy Bowe
Ulster Rugby player Tommy Bowe could be set to miss Ireland's first autumn international match next weekend.
The team are due to play South Africa at the Aviva Stadium on 8 November.
However, Bowe is just one of the players currently fighting for fitness.
The winger suffered concussion during Ulster's match again Toulon last week and is now following the appropriate guidelines for returning to play.
His Ulster teammate Stuart Olding was also called up to the extended Ireland squad for this year's Autumn Internationals, but the youngster was also left concussed during last week's game.
Appeal For Information Following Armed Robbery
Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in the Rosetta Road area of Belfast.
Shortly before 9pm on Tuesday (28 October), a man entered a commercial property with what is believed to have been a knife. After threatening staff, he made off with a sum of money and a quantity of cigarettes.
No staff were injured in the incident but they were left badly shaken.
Detective Constable Michael Carroll said: "The male is described as being in his 50's, approximately 5'5" tall, of broad build and wearing a dark baseball cap, grey hoodie and black scarf. He spoke with a Belfast accent.
"He made off from the scene on foot in the direction of Knock Dual Carriageway."
Anyone with information should contact police on the non-emergency number 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of George Gilmore
A 39-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating the murder of George Gilmore. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. The suspect was detained in Co Antrim on Wednesday, 12 April, and is being questioned at Musgrave police station.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

A man aged in his 50s has died in a house fire in Magherafelt, Co L'Derry An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire at a house on Highfield Road, however police said that they don't believe the fire was suspicious. The man's identity has not yet been released.

An 18-year-old man has died following a collision in Portadown. The crash happened on the Dungannon Road between midnight and 12.30am on Wednesday, 08 November. The road has been re-opened. Elsewhere, a man, aged in his 30's, has died in a road collision in Co Antrim.

Police Cancel Appeal For Missing Omagh Man
Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. No further details have been released but police thanked the public for their help.
