Three Arrested Over Gun Attack
Three men have been arrested by police investigating a gun attack at a property in north Belfast last month.
A couple and their three children managed to escape injury when their home at Velsheda Court was attacked in September.
On Monday (27 October), three men, aged 31, 33 and 41, were arrested during searches at four properties in the north and west of Belfast.
The 31 and 41-year-old have since been released.
A 33-year-old man is still being questioned by police.
Man Injured By Falling Tree
A man has been treated in hospital for injuries he sustained from a falling tree.
The tree fell on him on Monday night, in the Killyleagh Road area.
His condition is currently unknown.
No further details are available.
Suspected Firearm Recovered In Lisburn
Police have said a suspected firearm has been discovered in Lisburn.
The item was found shortly after 2pm on Monday (27 October) in the Flowbog Road area.
It is understood the firearm was found during a planned search.
Army technical officers at the scene examined the weapon. It has since been removed for further examination.
Girl Critical Following Crash
A 12-year-old girl is in a critical condition after being struck by a car.
The incident happened on the Prince William Road in Lisburn at around 9.45pm on Monday.
The driver of the car involved in the accident was not injured.
Any witnesses are asked to contact police.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

55-Year-Old Man Arrested Over 1976 Murder
A 55-year-old man has been arrested in connection with Northern Ireland 36 years ago. William Palmer, 50, was shot at his home on Milltown Road in 1976. He died three days later in hospital from his injuries. The man was detained on suspicion of murder, possessing a firearm and membership of the IRA.

Man Dies In Co L'Derry House Fire
A man aged in his 50s has died in a house fire in Magherafelt, Co L'Derry An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire at a house on Highfield Road, however police said that they don't believe the fire was suspicious. The man's identity has not yet been released.
