Man Attacked In North Belfast

A man has been stabbed and attacked with a hammer in north Belfast.

The 26-year-old was stabbed in the back and beaten on the head with a hammer by three masked men at Victoria Parade on Sunday.

He is being treated in hospital for his injuries, however they are not believed to be life threatening.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Teenager Stabbed In Belfast Alleyway
A teenager has been stabbed after he was attacked by two men in north Belfast. The 17-year-old was walking through an alleyway in the New Lodge area of the city early on Wednesday morning when the incident occurred. It is understood he was attacked at the entry to Bruslee Way by two men.

Two women attacked in separate robberies
Two women have been injured in two separate robberies in Co Antrim and Co Londonderry. In Belfast a woman was treated in hospital last night after being stabbed outside a supermarket in north Belfast. The woman was the victim of an attempted mugging outside a Tesco shopping centre on the Ballygomartin Road at around lunchtime.
