Man Released On Bail After Student Dies In Road Incident

A man, 29, has been released on police bail after a student was killed in a collision in south Belfast last week.

Enda Dolan, from Killyclogher in Omagh, was struck by a van on the Malone Road on Wednesday 15th October.

A 29-year-old, arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, has been freed pending further inquiries.

A 19-year-old man was also arrested but has since been released on police bail.

A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A 27-year-old woman arrested over the death of a three-year-old boy in Lisburn has been charged with his murder. Brendan Owens was found dead on 4 July at a property in Trinity Terrace, Lisburn. A post-mortem examination was carried out on the infant at the time, but it is understood the results were inconclusive.

Man Arrested Over Fatal Road Crash Released On Bail
A man arrested in connection with a fatal road crash near L'Derry has been released on bail, pending further enquiries. Two cousins, Aaron McDonald, 19, and Michael McDonald, 21, were killed in the collision on the Victoria Road between Newbuildings and Magheramason in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
