Three men appear in court over drugs find
Three men have appeared in court today following the largest ever seizure of cannabis in Northern Ireland.
Stephen Spence, 28, from Belfast, Stephen Martin, 40, from Carrickfergus, and Nigel Carter, 36, from Fleetwood in England appeared before Belfast Magistrate's Court after being arrested in connection to the £2.5 million find.
Police discovered the drugs after searching a lorry on the Woodburn Road in Carrickfergus. It is believed the drugs were bound for the hands of loyalist paramilitaries.
All three men were released on bail, however they must report regularly to the PSNI and police in Fleetwood.

Three people have appeared in Londonderry Magistrates Court after cocaine with a street value of half a million pounds was seized in County Londonderry on Monday. Two men and a woman, all faced charges relating to being involved with drugs trafficking. All three have denied the charges.

Man Charged Over Suspected Drugs Offences
The PSNI joined forces with South Wales Police and arrested a 27-year-old man over suspected drugs offences following a search. The man was taken back to NI and charged over the supply of Diazepam and Xanax.
