'Serious' Two-Vehicle Crash, Coleraine
Police have reported a "serious" two-vehicle crash in Coleraine, County Londonderry.
The incident occurred on the Creamery Road on Wednesday morning. The road is closed between the Ballyrashane Road and the Cloyfin Road.
Man Convicted Of £18k Benefit Fraud
A man has been convicted at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court for claiming £18,047 in benefits to which he was not entitled.
42-year-old Steven Nixon of Molesworth Street, Cookstown, County Tyrone, claimed Jobseekers Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £18,047 while failing to declare employment. He was given a four month prison sentence suspended for three years and ordered to pay court costs of £55.
Man Charged Over Cannabis Factory Find
A 43-year-old man has been charged with possession of a class B drug and cultivating cannabis following the discovery of a growing factory at Castlereagh Street in Belfast on Tuesday.
The man is due to appear in Belfast Magistrates' Court on Monday 10 November.
Artigarvan Road Resurfacing Scheme Announced
A £220,000 major resurfacing scheme for the B49 Berryhill Road in Artigarvan, County Tyrone, is to get underway starting 27 October.
Transport Minister Danny Kennedy said: "This scheme will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of the carriageway on this section of this important road."
For the resurfacing works it will be necessary to close the road. Information on the exact dates of the road closures will be advised at a later date. Traffic will be diverted via B48 Duncastle Road, A5 Victoria Road, B49 Woodend Road and vice versa.

Number Of Roads Remain Closed Following Storm Ali
A number of roads remain closed across Northern Ireland following the damage caused by Storm Ali. The following roads are still closed, however the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) is working to clear the obstructions along with its multiagency partners.

Serious Road Crash In L'Derry
A serious road crash has occurred on the Chapel Road in L'Derry. A car and a motorbike where involved in the incident, according to the police. One man, believed to be a teenager, has been taken to hospital where his injuries are believed to be serious. The road has been closed at its junctions with Newlyn Terrace and Spencer Road.

Man Dies In Workplace Accident In Co Armagh
A man has died in a workplace accident in Co Armagh. It is believed the man was crushed by a road roller while a new road surface was being laid on the Bog Road, Forkhill, on Wednesday, 31 May. Police and the Health and Safety Executive have launched an investigation.
