Man charged with attempted murder
A 19-year-old man has appeared in court today charged with attempted murder.
Alan Evans, from St George's Terrace, Dromore, Co Tyrone, appeared before Enniskillen Magistrates Court charged with the alleged stabbing of a 38-year-old man outside a bar in Dromore on Sunday.
The accused made no reply when the charge was read out to him. He was subsequently remanded in custody until August 12 where he will appear before Omagh Magistrates Court by video link.
The man's alleged victim is in a stable condition at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

A 28-year-old man has appeared at Londonderry Magistrates Court charged with murdering Declan McNeill in Magherafelt at the weekend. The court heard that when Ryan Loughran was charged with the murder of 41-year-old Declan McNeill he said ‘no, not at this stage’.

A 35-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. The victim, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition after being assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. The suspect is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Monday, 17 October.

Man Charged Over Banbridge Murder
A man charged with the murder of another man found dead in Banbridge is to appear before Newry Magistrates' Court today, 13 July. The body of 55-year-old Richard Gerard Scullion was found at a property in the Millmount Court area on Monday, 09 July. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Extradited man denies murder
A 43-year-old Chinese man who was extradited from Hong Kong in connection with the death of a Chinese woman has denied murder. Wong Sui Ching appeared today at Belfast Magistrate’s Court charged with the murder of 29-year-old part-time waitress Ho Mi Ye. She had been found strangled at her home in Isoline Street in east Belfast in June 1998.
