Search Is On For Family Of NI Solider
An appeal has been launched for help in identifying the family of a solider from Northern Ireland, whose belongings were found in a trunk in a woman's home in London.
It is understood the woman's mother found a metal army trunk in the loft of her family home, which contained photos, books, letters, an x-ray and medical note from August 1943.
Also found was a war satchel, helmet, shin protectors and an army coat.
The trunk was moved to their garage and forgotten about.
The solider was a man called RC Scott, and Sarah Warwick, who recently found the army trunk again, is hoping to trace his family in order to return his possessions.

The award recognises restaurants that served good, but affordable food.
Police Investigate Suspected Poisoning Of Peregrine Falcon
A police investigation has been launched into the suspected poisoning of a peregrine falcon in L'Derry.
Police say that the bird was found in the grounds of St Columb's Cathedral on Saturday.
"This particular falcon was well known to the local community and had become a tourist attraction.
"Parishioners and local people who liked to watch the falcon are understandably very upset by what has happened," Chief Inspector Tony Callaghan, the Foyle Area Commander, said.
Information can be given on the police non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, it can be provided to the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
