CRUSE Charity Praised On 30th Anniversary

A reception has been held at Stormont to mark the 30th anniversary of the CRUSE Bereavement Care service in Northern Ireland.

Speaking today, Health Minister Edwin Poots said: "I want to acknowledge the contribution CRUSE has made to supporting thousands of bereaved people over the past 30 years in Northern Ireland.

"The profound impact which bereavement can have on a child, young person or adult could not be more clearly demonstrated than by the many people’s experiences I have heard today; but the people’s testaments also show the very beneficial effects that the work of CRUSE can have in helping a person to come to terms with the loss of a loved one."

Cruse Bereavement Care is a national voluntary charity that provides advice, information and support to anyone who has been bereaved.
