West Belfast Death 'Suspicious'

The PSNI is currently investigating the death of a man at a flat in west Belfast on Saturday.

It is thought that the death of the 31-year-old may have been "suspicious".

Police said they wanted to speak to anyone who was in the St Mary's Gardens area between 01:00 and mid-afternoon on Saturday 13 September and noticed any suspicious activity.

Police have launched an investigation following the death of a man in west Belfast. The man's body was discovered in the Paris Street area on Sunday night. Police said they are not treating the death as suspicious. A post-mortem is to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

Post mortem due after suspicious death
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was found in west Belfast yesterday afternoon. The body of the man, who has been named locally as Philip Thompson from the Woodvale area, was discovered close to the Ballygomartin River, off the Forthriver Road, at around 3.45pm yesterday.

Organisers of the North West 200 races are investigating the cause of an accident that killed a 35-year-old motorbiker. Mark Buckley, of Loch Lomond, Scotland, died in hospital after an incident near York Corner during the opening lap of Saturday afternoon's Superstock race.

Woman Arrested Over Death Of Sean Corrigan
A woman has been arrested in connection with the suspicious death of a man in west Belfast last year. Sean Corrigan, 31, was found at a flat in the St Mary's Gardens area on Saturday 13 September, 2014. He died in hospital, however post mortem results revealed he may have died in suspicious circumstances.
