Warrenpoint Medical Supply Firm Secures Deal In The Middle East
Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Arlene Foster has announced that Warrenpoint medical supply company has secured its first major deal in the Middle East.
Clonallon Laboratories Ltd, which supplies a wide range of custom sterile procedure packs, surgical instruments and medical supplies to the healthcare industry, has won a contract to supply £250,000 worth of procedure packs in Kuwait.
Arlene Foster outlined the company's first major deal in this region at the start of a five-day Invest NI trade mission to United Arab Emirates, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
The Minister said: "Clonallon Laboratories has been growing steadily for a number of years, thanks to its excellent reputation for prompt supply of products under very tight deadlines and its investment in new product development.
"Its aim is to achieve significant export sales growth, and this contract is a significant milestone on that journey."
Invest NI is supporting the creation of seven new jobs in management, administration and production roles, allowing Clonallon to increase its capacity to service the rising sales.
