IBM Create 50 New Jobs In Dublin

Fifty new jobs are to be created in Dublin by IBM.

The company announced an expansion of its technology campus, with the establishment of a European Digital Sales Centre in Mulhuddart.

The expansion comes with an investment of €20 million.

Offshore Company Axes Jobs
Around 150 jobs in Aberdeen and Dundee have been axed after an offshore services company ceased trading. Oceanteam Power and Umbilical has been forced to close when the firm's holding company withdrew its financial support. Staff are based in Aberdeen, at workshops in Dundee and offshore.

Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton, TD, today announced that Mandiant, a specialist provider of IT security solutions is to establish an engineering and security operations centre in Dublin with the creation of 100 new jobs.

IBM To Create New Jobs In Ireland
IBM has announced it is to expand its IBM Ireland Analytics & Solutions Lab to advance cloud social collaboration and HR analytics software that help organisations build and maintain a smarter workforce. New jobs will be created for high value software engineering roles at the development lab which has offices in Dublin, Cork and Galway.

Irish Engineering Jobs To Triple By 2020
Irish engineering jobs are to triple over the next ten years, according to a new report. The figures, which come after it was revealed that 6% of workers in the trade are currently unemployed, have been released in an Engineers Ireland survey.
