Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck By Car In Moira
A woman who was hit by a car in Moira, County Down, last weekend, has died.
She was struck by a white BMW X3 on Main Street at around 2.30pm on Saturday 6th September.
She was in a critical condition in hospital, however she has since died.
Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Driver killed as car collides with lamppost
A 22-year-old man has been killed in a road traffic accident in Belfast. The accident occurred on the King's Road in Knock area shortly before midnight on Monday October 28. The man, who has not yet been named, died when his car struck a lamppost. No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the accident.

Two motorcyclists have died in separate accidents on Northern Ireland’s roads in the last 24 hours. In Co Antrim, a man died when his motorcycle was in collision with a car on the Doagh Road, Newtownabbey, shortly before 7.40am.

Police have issued an appeal for information after a man died after being struck by a car in Downpatrick, County Down. The man was hit by a car at the Downe Retail Park on Ballydugan Road at about 8.30pm last night. Emergency services attended the retail park but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Pensioner Dies Weeks After Being Struck By Car
A pensioner has died weeks after she was run over while walking in County Down. The woman in her 80's was struck by a car on the Bangor Road in Newtownards shortly before 4pm on Thursday 17 January. It has since been confirmed that she died of her injuries.

A man struck by a car in Donegal has died in hospital in Co L'Derry. The collision happened at Bridgend just before midnight on Saturday, 10 March. A silver Opel Omega is believed to have been travelling from the direction of L'Derry when it hit two men. A man, aged in his 20s, was pronounced dead at Altnaglevin Hospital.
