Danske Bank To Close Two Branches
Danske Bank has confirmed it is to close two of its branches in L'Derry.
The branches in Dungiven and Maghera are to merge with its Limavady and Magherafelt branches.
The branches will merge on 15 November 2014.
The bank has said there will be no job losses and staff will be relocated to other branches.
Tony Wilcox, Danske Bank's Managing Director of Personal Banking, said: "I fully understand that this news may be disappointing for our customers, but I can assure them that Danske Bank remains committed to continuing to meet their banking needs."

Danske Bank has announced plans to close two branches in County Down later this year. The Lisburn Road, Belfast, and Main Street, Bangor sites will close on Friday 24 May. Richard Caldwell, Managing Director of personal banking at the facility said the closure was due to a shift in customer trends, including the growing use of online banking.

New NI Bank Notes In Circulation
New bank notes have been released into circulation in Northern Ireland. The £10 and £20 notes are being issued from Danske Bank and will gradually replace the existing Northern Bank notes. The design of the notes remains the same, the only difference is the Danske Bank logo has replaced the Northern Bank logo.

Northern Bank To Be Rebranded
Danske Bank has announced a new organisational set-up for its operations in Northern Ireland and Ireland. The new structure will take effect on 1 June 2012. The re-organisation mirrors a similar Group wide set-up being introduced in all Danske Bank operations.

Ulster Bank Payments Delayed Further
A bank that has been plagued with technical difficulties over the past few days has said its payments system will not be fully up and running until Monday. Although Ulster Bank said the days-long backlog would be resolved today, many customers are still unable to access recent payments.

The Ulster Bank has announced that it will close a further 10 branches across NI between February and November 2024. The branches marked for closure include Lisnaskea, Ballynahinch, Crumlin, Downpatrick, Glengormley, Lurgan, Waterside in L'Derry and three branches in Belfast - Ormeau Road, University Road and Kings Road.
