Tickets To Go On Sale For MTV Derry Event

Derry City Council has announced that thousands of tickets will go on sale on Saturday 09 August at 09:00 for the 'MTV Crashes' live music event in September.

MTV returns to the city following its 'One Big Weekend' event last year as part of L'Derry's year as UK City Of Culture.

Mayor Councillor Brenda Stevenson said: "Everyone is talking about MTV and looking forward to attending another hugely successful music festival at Ebrington Square. It's a fantastic coup for the city and a great opportunity to showcase our facilities and continue with the legacy of Music City 2014."

MTV Crashes will be a key part of a wider weekend of activity in the city including Culturetech and Culture Night. Further information is available via www.visitderry.com.

Tickets for the 'MTV Crashes' live show on Friday, September 19, and the Club MTV DJ special on Saturday night, September 20, will go on sale at www.ticketmaster.ie.
