'Bomb Parts' Discovered During Search
A number of components for an explosive device have been found during a search in Strabane, Co Tyrone, police have confirmed.
The items were found during a search of a property in the Carrigullin Road area of the town. The items have been removed from the derelict outhouse for forensic examination.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Road users are advised to plan for potential traffic delays in the south Belfast area on Friday, 15th November due to the UEFA Nations League football match between Northern Ireland and Belarus. Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Gardaí Probe Border Arms Dump
The Irish police are continuing their search of an arms dump in a border area of Co Donegal. This comes after ammunition and electrical items were found on Tuesday during the planned search. The probe began on Monday at at Altaderry, on a road linking the villages of Bridgend and Killea, is a few hundred metres from the Irish border.

A quantity of counterfeit goods have been seized during what police described as a "planned search" in the Jonesborough area of Co Armagh. The search on Sunday morning December 11, uncovered £40,000 worth of counterfeit drink - mainly vodkas - cigarettes, DVDs and training shoes.

'Nothing Found' In Bog Meadows Police Search
A police search for traces of human remains at Bog Meadows in west Belfast has ended - without anything being found. The operation was a follow-up to specialised searches of land formerly owned by the adjacent Milltown Cemetery by dogs trained to indicate where human remains may be buried.
