Morris fitness boost for Glens
Glentoran goalkeeper Elliott Morris past a late fitness test this afternoon enabling him to face Finnish opponents HJK Helsinki in tonight's return leg Champions League qualifying fixture.
Morris was struggling with a throat infection and was set to be replaced by former Northern Ireland international, Paul Kee if declared unfit.
Further good news for Glens fans saw manager Roy Coyle recall former Cliftonville winger Tim McCann and former international Michael O'Neill to the starting line-up.
McCann will partner Andy Smith and Kevin Keegan up front while O'Neill will slot into the midfield.
The Irish League champions need only a score draw to progress through to the next round of the competition, the first local side to do so since Linfield in 1993.
Lat week's 0-0 draw with the Finns in Belfast mean Roy Coyle's men have every chance of securing that Second Qualifying round tie against Hungarian opposition.
