AES Achieves Rapid Sales Growth
Cookstown electronics company Advanced Electronic Solutions (AES) Distribution NI Ltd has achieved rapid sales growth and export success with support from Invest Northern Ireland.
The Cookstown firm designs and manufactures the largest range of wireless and GSM intercom systems in the world, based on its innovative wireless technology. It recently moved to new premises in Kilcronagh Industrial Estate and secured its first larger export deal in the US.
Since it was established five years ago, AES has seen a rapid increase in sales and is now exporting to 20 countries. Earlier this year the company received support from Invest NI to undertake export marketing activity, which included exhibiting at shows in Egypt, Las Vegas, London, Amsterdam and Kuala Lumpur.
Through this activity AES secured a number of new dealerships as well as repeat sales for its products. The company now plans to attract customers in South Africa, Italy, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
Invest NI has also offered Jobs Fund support to help AES create additional new jobs over the next two years.
