Self Catering Cottages Open, Anna Long
A new cluster of five self catering cottages developed with assistance from Invest NI has opened in Annalong, County Down.
Tourism and Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster has opened the new Kribben Cottages, which have achieved four-star accreditation from the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
Minister Foster said: "If our tourism industry is to achieve the challenging objectives set in the Northern Ireland Executive’s economic strategy, it is imperative that projects and accommodation such as this are in place.
"Kribben Cottages really represent a tremendous vote of confidence in the future of tourism in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty rich in tradition and heritage, and boasting unparalleled access to a number of stand-out attractions such as Spelga Dam, Silent Valley and, of course, the Mournes."
Kribben Cottages has benefited from design advice from Invest NI to rebrand the business, which was previously called Dunnywater Cottages.
Invest NI’s support towards the construction of the cottages was announced in 2012.

Police are no longer treating the death of a man in Holywood, Co Down, as suspicious. The body of a man was discovered at a house in the Balleydavey Cottages area of Holywood on Sunday, 05 June. A post-mortem was carried out to determine the cause of death which police are not treating as suspicious.

Man's Body Discovered In Co Down
A man has been arrested after a body was discovered in Holywood, Co Down. The body of a man, aged in his 40s, was found at a house in the Ballydavey Cottages area on Sunday, 05 June, according to the police. The 53-year-old suspect has been arrested and is currently assisting police with their inquiries.

Tourism Ireland has announced a new £4 million multi-media promotional campaign across Great Britain to promote short breaks and holidays in Northern Ireland. The campaign is a result of funding recently announced by Economy Minister Gordon Lyons to help Northern Ireland's tourism industry rebuild and expand post pandemic.
