Belfast Man Drowns In Bulgaria

A man from Belfast has drowned on holiday in Bulgaria.

The victim, named as James Kelly, 25, was originally from the Shankill Road area of the city.

It is understood the father-of-one was on holiday with his partner at the Sunny Beach resort on the Black Sea when he died on Wednesday (25 June).

His family have travelled to the country to bring his body home, it has been reported.

Three Schools Burgled In Downpatrick
Police in Downpatrick are investigating three schools which were broken into over the bank holiday weekend. Damage was caused to three schools in the Saul Street and Old Belfast Road areas. Lead was stolen from roofs of two of the schools, while power tools and a television was taken from a workshop at the third school.
