Police appeal following robbery
Police are appealing for information after "an undisclosed sum of money" was stolen outside a post office in east Belfast.
The incident occurred on the Beersbridge Road at around 11am on Tuesday morning during a cash delivery.
The delivery man set his cash box down after being approached from behind by an unidentified man.
The man, who is thought to have been carrying a knife, is described as being 5'8" in height, of slim build, wearing a dark jacket and jeans and a balaclava style mask.
He made off with the cash towards Tamery Pass.
Police have appealed for anyone with information or may have seen the robbery take place to contact them on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. Missing Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing man Declan Mawhinney has been found safe and well, according to the police. Mr Mawhinney, 46, went missing from Letterkenny on Saturday at approximately 11.40pm. A missing person appeal was launched by the police and his family. He was located in Letterkenny on Tuesday. Police thank the public for their assistance.

Cash delivery guard robbed at knife-point
Police in north Belfast are appealing for information after a cash delivery guard was robbed yesterday morning. It is understood that a man armed with a knife, approached the guard outside a bank in the York Road area of the city at around 10am. The man demanded that the guard hand over the cash box he was carrying.

Industry urges NI to ‘play safe’ with cash cards
Cash machine users were today advised to keep playing safe when making cash withdrawals, despite fraudulent cash withdrawals in Northern Ireland falling by 8% to £368,000 over the past year. However, despite a fall in Northern Ireland figures the rest of the UK saw an average rise of 85% in fraudulent cash withdrawals over the same period.

Police in Newtownabbey have appealed for information following an armed robbery in the town earlier this afternoon. Just before midday, a man brandishing a knife approached a cash delivery guard on the Farmley Road and demanded that he hand over a cash box.
