Man Missing In Belfast

A man has been reported missing in the Belfast area by his family, who police say are concerned for his welfare.

18-year-old Matthew Bateman was last seen on Friday in the Botanic Gardens area in the south of the city.

Mr Bateman is originally from the Bangor, County Down area. He is described as being approximately 5'11" in height, of slim build, with dirty fair hair. He was unshaven but now but police say he may possibly have a ginger beard.

He was last seen wearing a blue-hooded top, dark tracksuit bottoms and black shoes. He was not wearing any socks.

Police have appealed for Matthew or anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact them at Musgrave on the non-emergency number 101.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. PSNI Appeal For Help Tracing Missing Belfast Man
The PSNI have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of 31-year-old Conor Bradley. Conor was last seen on Saturday, 29 January. He is described as 6'6", of slim build with ginger hair. He is believed to be in the Belfast area, according to police. Anyone with any information about Conor or his whereabouts is urged to contact police.

Appeal Issued After Youths Seen 'Acting Suspiciously' In Bangor
Police are appealing for witnesses after three youths were seen "acting suspiciously" in the Ward Park area of Bangor on Saturday evening, 29 April. One of the teenagers was dressed all in back. The second teen had long blond or ginger hair and was wearing an orange or yellow top. The third was wearing a red hooded top with the hood up and tied.

Appeal Issued For Missing Teenager Julieanne Duffy McGrogan
Police have issued an appeal to trace missing 14-year-old Julieanne Duffy McGrogan. She was last seen wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a black top and black trainers and may have travelled to Armagh. A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police and the family of 14 year old Julieanne Duffy McGrogan are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

Appeal For Help To Trace Two Prisoners 'Unlawfully At Large'
The PSNI have issued an appeal for help in locating two prisoners 'unlawfully at large' after absconding from the Northern Ireland Prison Service. The two, who are believed to be in each other's company, are 49-year-old Alison McDonagh and 54-year-old Stephen McParland.
