Investigation launched into death of electricity worker
An investigation has been launched into the death of an electricity worker in Co Down.
It is understood that the incident occurred during work on electricity power lines near Annalong on Wednesday.
Northern Ireland Electricity’s Chief Operating Officer Billy Graham said that they were “deeply saddened by the death”.
An investigation into the incident will now be conducted with the Northern Ireland Health and Safety Executive and the PSNI.
