PSNI Investigate Castlereagh Crime Spree

Police are appealing for information following a series of thefts from vehicles and a burglary in the Castlereagh area.

The PSNI has said a number of items including power tools, golf clubs, satellite navigation systems and money were stolen from 11 vehicles in the Grey Castle Manor, Glenview Heights and Marlborough Heights area on Tuesday. Criminal damage was also caused to two vehicles.

Police have said they suspect the thefts could be linked to a burglary in Brentwood Park in the early hours of Tuesday.

A number of follow-up inquiries are being made.

A purple BMW M4, registration number R50 0LAN, was reported stolen from Mourne Manor in the town shortly before 9am on 4th March, however, detectives believe it was taken several hours earlier, at around 3am.

Appeal For Information On Quad Bike Thefts In Clogher
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following the overnight theft of four quad bikes and two trailers in the Clogher area. On Tuesday 11th June, police received a report that the items had been stolen from a residential property on the Tullybroom Road at around 1.45am.

Six Police Officers Injured After Stolen Car Rams Three Vehicles
Six police officers have been injured following a creeper burglary in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim. A stolen car rammed into three police vehicles during a pursuit. Four teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and two of them are also suspected of motoring offences.
