40 Jobs Announced Through Crossgar Supermarket
40 jobs are expected to be created through the construction of a new SuperValu store in Crossgar, County Down.
The 6,000sq ft store and filling station is due to open in September on the Belfast Road.
SDLP South Down MP Margaret Ritchie said: "This is very welcome news and I congratulate the owner in partnership with SuperValu for this development.
"Anytime we hear of new jobs being created it is great news. However, this announcement of 40 jobs is a substantial investment in the local workforce and community.
"This highly significant development will benefit the local community and, overall, it is a good news story and it demonstrates a company that believes in this area, especially at a time when jobs are very much needed in the area."
