Woman assaulted and robbed in north Belfast

Police are appealing for information after a woman was robbed outside a bank in north Belfast on Friday afternoon.

The incident occurred when a man approached the victim from behind and struck her across the head outside a Northern Bank on the Antrim Road at around 2pm.

The assailant then made off with a bag of money in a blue or silver coloured BMW in the direction of Belfast.

Police at Amtrim Road have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Woman Attacked In West Belfast
Police are appealing for information after a woman was attacked in west Belfast. A number of men armed with batons forced their way into a house in the Laurelbank area of Poleglass just after 7.30pm on Wednesday, 18 January, and assaulted the victim. The men smashed the windows of the property and two cars that were parked outside.

Belfast Pensioner Disturbed During Burglary
An elderly woman has been disturbed by burglars in her east Belfast home on Tuesday 04 December. The woman was inside the property at Glencregagh Park at the time of the incident, between 5.45pm and 7.45pm. Detectives are appealing for information following the burglary, in which the woman escaped injury.

Elderly Woman's Handbag Stolen In East Belfast
Police are appealing for information after an elderly woman had her handbag stolen from her car in east Belfast. The incident happened on the Castlereagh Road at around 1.55pm on Monday, 26 September. The woman had placed her handbag at the back of her vehicle when a man opened the rear door and made off in the direction of Ravensdale Street.
