Michael Pearson Seriously Injured At Czech Superbike Race
Ballygowan motorcycle racer Michael Pearson, 37, has suffered serious injuries following a crash at the Horice road races in the Czech Republic at the start of the Superbike race .
The former Irish Superbike champion endured a severe back injury and internal bleeding, according to reports.
Simon Andrews and the Frenchman Franck Petricola also remain critical after crashes at the North West 200 in Portrush.
The 31-year-old pilot from Evesham Worcestershire was taken by helicopter to the Royal Victoria Hospital after coming off his BMW at the Superstock event on Saturday.

Superbike Rider Dan Kneen Killed In TT Crash
Superbike rider Dan Kneen, aged 30, has died in a crash at the Isle of Man TT. He sustained fatal injuries during the event's Superbike qualifying session on Wednesday, 30 May. The accident happened at the Churchtown section on the first lap of the session. Mr Kneen had been riding for Tyco BMW, a Northern Ireland-based team.

Motorcyclist Dies In Race Crash
A motorcyclist has died following a crash in the Walderstown Road Races in Athlone. Bruce Moulds, 20, from Hillsborough, was taken to a hospital in Dublin on Sunday, but later died from his injuries. He was taking part in a race when he lost control of the bike and he crashed into a ditch.

Alliance has called for the urgent implementation of a new Race Relations Strategy, following the news of a rise in race hate incidents. Spokespeople for the Executive Office, Paula Bradshaw, was speaking after figures were released by the PSNI and the NI Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) in a recent report.
