Stolen Car Crashes Into PSNI Vehicle

Police have said a stolen car has crashed into a PSNI vehicle in west Belfast.

The incident followed a report to police that an Audi A4 had been stolen and was being driven erratically in the Albert Street area, off Divis Street, at about 22:00 on Thursday evening.

Police attended the scene and their vehicle was hit by the stolen car, which had been travelling in the direction of the Millfield area at the time.

Following the crash, the stolen vehicle was set alight.

Three officers inside the PSNI car received minor injuries, while the vehicle was damaged on the front and driver side panels.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

Police Vehicle Damaged In Car Theft Getaway
A police vehicle has been rammed during a car theft in Belfast in the early hours this morning, Wednesday 04 November. Officers were called to an incident in the Dunmore Avenue area where a number of males had gained entry to a red Mitsubishi Colt. They attended the area and observed the stolen vehicle on the Cavehill Road area.

PSNI Officers Injured After Stolen Car Crashes Into Vehicle In West Belfast
Two police officers have been injured after a stolen car crashed into their vehicle in west Belfast. A silver Volkswagen, which had been reported stolen in the Castlereagh area in connection with a creeper style burglary on Wednesday morning, collided with the PSNI vehicle in the Cullingtree area just before 9.45pm on Wednesday, 15 February.

Stolen Car Crashes With Police Vehicle In South Belfast
Police are appealing for witnesses after a stolen car and a police vehicle crashed in south Belfast. The silver Mini, which was taken during a burglary at Fitzroy Avenue in the early hours of Thursday morning, collided with a police vehicle at the junction of Fitzroy Avenue and Carmel Street. No-one was injured in the incident.

Officers Injured After Stolen Vehicle Rams Police Car
Two police officers have been injured after a stolen camper van was deliberately driven into a police vehicle. According to reports, the van had been stolen from a house that been ransacked on the Portadown Road in Tandragee at around 17:30 on Wednesday 20 April.

Police Vehicle Rammed By Stolen Car In North Belfast
A police vehicle has been rammed by a stolen car in north Belfast on Wednesday morning, 04 November. A number of men gained entry to a Mitsubishi Colt in the Marsden Gardens area. Police watched the stolen vehicle on the Cavehill Road. The car did not stop for the police and a PSNI vehicle was rammed, however no serious injuries were reported.
