Online Jobs Fair Aims To Boost ICT Sector
An online jobs fair is hoped to create some 200 jobs in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector in Ireland.
Organised by EURES Ireland, the online fair will allow people to apply for and be interviewed for jobs via the web.
Jobseekers from across Europe will also be able to speak directly to potentia employers to assess the skills and criteria needed for roles.
The official description reads: "An online only event, Irish employers recruiting IT and Software talent from Europe to join the booming ICT sector in Ireland. Interesting presentations will be streamed live on www.europeanjobdays.eu/dublin from 10am to 1.30 pm (Irish time). Jobseekers from Europe will be able to chat with employers, apply for jobs and book 1 or more interviews."

Offshore Company Axes Jobs
Around 150 jobs in Aberdeen and Dundee have been axed after an offshore services company ceased trading. Oceanteam Power and Umbilical has been forced to close when the firm's holding company withdrew its financial support. Staff are based in Aberdeen, at workshops in Dundee and offshore.

HostSure Creates 14 New Jobs
