Cars Destroyed In Arson Attacks
Police in Antrim have reported that two cars have been damages in separate arson attacks.
According to the PSNI, a Citroen CS has been destroyed by fire and a Subaru has been extensively damaged in an attack in the Rathkyle area.
A short time later a Vauxhall Vectra was also destroyed in an attack in Oaktree Drive.
No motive for the attacks has been established. Police have appealed for witnesses or any one with information to contact them.

Schools targeted in attacks over the weekend
Two schools have been targeted in separate attacks at the weekend. A school in Co Down was targeted by arsonists at around 5.30am on Monday. A school minibus at Regent House School in Newtownards was destroyed in the attack, while two other vehicles were damaged. The front of the school also suffered damage in the blaze.

Man suffers minor injuries in house fire
A 59-year-old man has been rescued from his bedroom after a fire broke out in his Ballymoney home. The alarm was raised shortly after 2.30am and police, fire and ambulance services were all called to attend the scene. The man was taken to a local hospital suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation and burns to his head.

Fire at business premises being treated as malicious
A fire has completely destroyed unoccupied business premises in Londonderry. The blaze was discovered just before 12am on Sunday and is being treated as malicious by police. The fire was discovered at the business premises, a former furniture warehouse, on North Edward Street in the Strand Road area of the city.

Police investigate separate arson attacks
Police are appealing for information following separate arson attacks at the weekend. In west Belfast the occupants of a house in Falcarragh Drive discovered two cars on fire outside their property at around 2.30am on Sunday. Such was the intensity of the blaze, the front door of the house was damaged however no one was injured in the incident.

Man And Woman Shot In West Belfast
A man and woman, aged in their 50s, have been shot in the legs in west Belfast. The attack happened at a house in Norglen Parade shortly after 6.15pm on Thursday, 12 January. The victims, understood to be husband and wife, were taken to hospital to be treated, however their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
